Summit has made a great name for twin cities brewing, and I appreciate most of the styles they work with. This has always been a favorite of mine, lets hop nostalgia doesnt guide my senses.
A: Copper to red in color with a good head on it and mild lacing. Medium carbonation.
S: roasty but generally grassy hop. A sweetness in the aroma balances well.
T: again, the sweetness keeps this from going closer to an IPA or american pale. But the bitter is very present and slightly rests in the pockets.
M: Lack of carbonation keeps this one from jazzing about, but the bitter is whats prominent here with a drying quality but not excessive.
D: I tend to go back to this one in a bar that doesnt serve furious and im ok with that. Thanks summit!

Poured into a pint glass.
Dark brown color, bit of head. Smells like hops and malt.
Tastes like a pale ale with a bit more caramel than usual. Bitter finish. Lingers a bit.
Different than the pale ales I'm used to. Could use more hops.
Decent enough I guess.
