This is a beer I have had many times. Probably hundreds. In many establishments here in Minnesota the choices are Bud, Bud Light, Mich Golden Light, and Summit. What will one go for in this case? Obviously Summit, and it is not a bad choice.
The appearance is dark orange, with medium carbonation. A nice head captures some citrus notes and dissipates after a few minutes. The hop aroma is very 'sharp' which follows in the taste. Delightfully bitter with citrus undertones which linger. A wonderful APA with good balance and character.

Poured into a pint glass.
Dark brown color, bit of head. Smells like hops and malt.
Tastes like a pale ale with a bit more caramel than usual. Bitter finish. Lingers a bit.
Different than the pale ales I'm used to. Could use more hops.
Decent enough I guess.
