Appearance (4) : Fluffy white 2-3 fingered head that leaves intricate hieroglyphics of lacing around the glass like a roller derby rink. I don't know what that was supposed to mean. Body is honey colored, with about 40% opacity. It looks like a beer. A good beer.

Aroma (3.75) : Squeezed lemon, butter, orange and grapefruit skins, and a dash of roasted malts. The roasted malt really adds dimension here. Bouquet is medium to strong.

Taste (3.75) : Actually not too bad. It's tasty and not as offensive as I thought it would be. Yes, it's hop-heavy, which is to be expected, but the hop heaviness doesn't come in weighty until the finish. It's surrounded by a malt bomb and that's what I like. There's pine cone, honey, wheat, plant, and some earthy notes too. Finish is fruity and earthy.

Mouthfeel (3.5) : It's super creamy with just the right amount of zing. Finishes semi-dry. Light bodied.

Overall (3.77) : For a pale, this is entirely drinkable. Not as drinkable as say, an every night lager, but I can choke it down without much hassle. For those that know me and follow me, I'm not really a fan of IPA's, APA's, or any other pale ale/lager. A drinkable pale with enough malt to balance the hops is what I look for and this is one of those brews.
