Beer is a very nice deep blonde, typical of the style, head was minimal but I bet it was from the restaurant's pouring technique and not the beer itself, will have to pick up a case of bottles to find out for sure.
Aroma: bready and fruity, very nice.
Taste: malt domination all the way as is appropriate for the style, the malt was a bit toastier than most German Maibocks I've sampled, although this departure from style is welcome in my book. nice mild bittering hop finish.
Mouthfeel is med. viscosity and appropriate for style, drinkability is as good as it gets, the ultimate session beer.
Overall, a wonderful brew, summits second best in my opinion. A much welcomed harbinger of spring!

I poured a bottle into a pilsner glass.
Appearance- Clear golden-yellow color with a fingers worth of head. The head lingers for a little head then gradually fades to a thin cap. Fair amount of foamy lacing.
Smell- Biscuit and grain aroma with some grassy hop smells as well.
Taste- Biscuity malt flavor with some grassy and earthy hops for balance. Slight honey-like sweetness.
Mouthfeel- Light bodied and smooth. An average amount of carbonation.
Overall- Very good beer and very enjoyable. This may become one of my go-to spring beers.
