Clear reddish coppery hue. Not much head formed on the pour, maybe half a finger's worth. Some fine lacing and fine carbonation.
Some malty sweetness, mostly citrus/pine notes present. Was pleasant.
Not as bold as other microbrew IPAs. Would make a good introduction to the style or even potentially a "crossover" beer. Fairly well balanced within the style, somewhat bready malts with a touch of caramel sweetness gave way to apricot/citrus/pine from the hops. Finished with a bitter, tannin-like taste.
Decent, has just enough body to realize one isnt drinking a watery flavoured beverage. Just enough carbonation to provide a slight sparkle in the mouth.
Easy to drink. Goes great with a hot day when one may want to drink a few. Would make a good session beer since its not too thickly sweet or too hoppy. Would also serve as a decent introduction to the style for those not familiar with IPAs or other hoppy beers. Ill probably drink it again, but wont go out of my way searching for it either.

India Pale Ale
Summit Brewing Company, Minnesota
---from bottle to pint glass---
Foggy golden/honey, two fingers of beautiful sticky off white head, great lacing.
Soft hoppy notes, slight malt sweetness, nothing stands out.
Earthy bitter hops, hint of tart fruit, caramel backbone.
Good carbonation, good bitter, light body.
Summit loves their pale malts… and so do I. Not as hoppy as most IPA’s – however, this is not one of many popular American IPA… This is an English IPA. Still, this will not be a go-to beer for me. I’d call it a light IPA.
