Appearance: This one pours a hazy bright yellow color with a generous (1"+) white head.

Smell: Initially the aroma is pretty lemony. As the head fades, the aroma turns to more banana and spice. Very inviting.

Taste: Good here, some of the lemon flavors come through, but there is more spice in the taste.

Mouthfeel: This one is decent in the mouth, but not as good as some other Hefes.

Drinkability: With a good flavor and lower ABV, this is a beer you could while away the afternoon with.

This is quite a tasty beer as are all of Summit's seasonals. Recommended.

A slightly cloudy strong gold beer - I couldn't get much head. minimal ring and very active beading.

Smell - a sour clove and yeasty with not much banana. Smell transfers to the taste - very estery and tart. Very pronounced, but in a good way.

Drink-ability and mouth feel grows as the beverage warms. Not bad, but i wouldn't buy a sixer.

It poured a nice golden haze with a concave 3 inch white head.

It had a nice clove smell that was accompanied by a minimal banana undertone.

A rich clove taste was topeed with a delicious hoppy finish. It was very smooth.

I found it to be very drinkable and refreshing. Well worth a session on a hot summer night.

So my chance to have summit. I grabbed it from a shipment and was excited to get it.

It smells fruity with flowers
Taste is not good. Skunk with bitter. Just not for me. I do feel that if I had poured it colder it would have been better.
Lots of carbonization on the tongue.

Overall this beer is not for me. .

Pours a surprisingly clear, golden-wheat color. The bottle may have been a bit old, because there was definitely some settling of sediment at the bottom.

Smell is refreshingly wheaty without being overdone. Maybe a zing of lemon to complement it.

Summit's HW does a good job of balancing the strength of the flavor. It doesn't come off as too aggressive, nor is it too weak -- and this lends itself to both great taste AND drinkability.

The mouthfeel just leaves something to be desired. I can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't have what I expect.

A strong, yellow color, severely hazy. There is a 1/4 inch thick white head on top. Smell is of heavy coriander and cloves, with hints of banana and a dab of hoppy floral stylings. The taste is more balanced, if not a little bit further on the bitter side. There is a most notable hops flavor, but even still, it is dulled out by a vanilla-like malt. There is a little bit of lemon tang in the finish. Overall, this is pretty crisp and extremely refreshing. It's by no means my favorite HW, but it's still of pretty decent caliber. I used this to introduce a friend to craft beer, he liked it a lot.

Cloudy yellow beer, starting with a big white head that quickly drops and no lacing.
Aroma mainly of yeast and a bit of citrus.
Tastes good; malty, yeasty, tangy. Good blend of wheat and malt flavors.
Very spritzy on the tongue and light body. Good summer beer and quite drinkable.
Respectable effort from Summit.

Pours a dark yellow color and a nice head that is present from start to finish and is highly carbonated with a large amounts a bubbles. Has a pleasant smell of wheat an barley malts. Mouthfeel is pretty carbonated but pleasant also. I don't care for wheat beers but with ones like these I think I can learn to like them. Summit has done it again. This is my favorite wheat beer so far. I'm surprise that Summit beers aren't more popular. Of the four beers of theirs I've had, they're all quality brews. Thumbs up!

Don't underestimate Summit, especially not this beer. Judging by the cost of this brew, I didn't think I would get much flavor, but I was wrong.

The Hefe Weizen was terrific. It pours yellowy-orange, with a white head and average cloudiness for a wheat beer. Some chunky sediment at the bottom of the bottle, so be sure to swirl it around before you pour that last 1/3.
This light and refreshing wheat had hints of citrus (lemon, bordering fruity) with an amazing aroma.

Carbonation and foamy head were present for most of the consumtion. High marks for aroma, price, and drinkability on a hot day.

The beer was a nice cloudy golden color with a short-lived white head. The aroma was wheaty sweet with spiced banana. The taste was more of the same with a little more citrus than the aroma. The mouthfeel was good with high carbonation, yet it was smooth. It is very highly drinkable and quite refreshing. One of the better American Hefes

2-finger head, rapidly receding. Cloudy (of course), dark yellow in color. Smell was a bit citrusy, but also a little pungent (in a good way). Unfortunately, there was also a glassy, metallic smell of some kind that was somewhat off-putting. That oddity carried through slightly to the taste, but for the most part it was an enjoyable taste with hints of bannana & aged apples. Nice body. A little hoppier than I would have expected, but for me that's not a problem.

Pours a very thin watery texture with a on half finger head rising and quickly falling to a small lace that sticks 1/4" above the surface following the beer down the mug. Color is a very light gold to almost yellow. The smell is all yeast with some notes of grains in back creamy sweet and slightly buttery. The taste is full and decent, the buttery sweet flavor of the yeast overpowers most untill the overwhelming grain finish hits you like a ton of bricks...tough...I graded the taste up a little as this is not my favorite type of beer. Mouthfeel is a bit too water for me. I probably wont buy this one again. I have had better hefes than this.

Pours a hazy golden color with a minimal amount of head and some lacing.

Smells of banana and spices.

Slightly watery tasting typical easy drinking wheat type beer. Banana and wheat tastes dominate.

Very light mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite drinkable due to the light mouthfeel and the weak taste.

Not my favorite for the style a little too light and watery. However it's not too bad and very drinkable.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a weizen glass. Medium head for the style that fades rather quickly. Not much lacing on display. The beer is a decent opaque golden color. Smell is pleasant, but with fewer classic "hefeweizen" characteristics than other examples of the style. Taste is pleasant enough, but again lacking in some of the more complex notes expected of a hefeweizen. There is also a slightly disconcerting bitterness in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is decent enough, with a subdued amount of carbonation. Overall, this is a drinkable brew, but certainly not the definitive example of the style.
