on cask at Sheffield's in Chicago. pours a deep copper color with amber highlights and three fingers of creamy tan head that has excellent retention and leaves great lacings.
aroma is of light caramel malts with a mild sweetness and a light, yet hearty character. very simplistic in the nose.
taste is of caramel malts with a bit of bready malt in the background. lightly sweet overall with a mildly hopped finish that leaves the palate semi-dry and sticky after the fact. well put together and just flavorful enough to sustain itself on cask.
mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a semi-dry finish of mild caramel malt and dry hops.
drinkability is great. for a red on cask, this is well done with just the right amount of each note to sustain them together on cask. cheers!

Red Ale pours a dark reddish color, with a nice lacing head. There is a nice sharp malty aroma, with good hop notes. Taste is the same, good bold malty backbone, with a nice noticeable sharp bite near the end. Nice feel, and a nice carbonation feel. Overall its a nice flavorful red.
