I was looking forward to trying this one for a while, poured chilled in an IPA glass from the 12oz.

The color is golden with amber accent and 3 + fingers of off white foamy head with fine bead and lots of sticky lace. The smell has plenty of herbal aromas with gentle spice quality and pepper-green woody aroma with slight dank simcoe-like essence which is kind of odd and earthy. The feel is very nice with mildly sweet texture with tangy juicy hop and resinous body with medium carbonation and light toasted grain texture with medium bitterness into a semi-dry finish.

The taste is lightly lemon with a grapefruit-like flavor with herbal and dank bitter hop aspects with slight malt sweetness in the taste augmented by a spice quality in the background and mild alcohol in the mostly dry finish. I consider this a pretty good IPA, plenty of simcoe taste which is moderately bitter but drinkable in general...just not exceptional

Sampled at a craft fest. Excuse my limited notes from my mobile phone here.
K
Color was a golden wheat hue...

Aroma was of hops, wheat, and grapefruit.

Taste was out of this world for an ipa. Grapefruit, grapefruit rind, hops, wheat and musky barley.

Good beer.
