A. Clear golden amber appearance with a 1/2" white head.

S. Malt, vegetal hops, citrus hops - nice but not earth shattering.

T. Good combination of malt sweetness and hop bitterness. Hops lean more towards the earthy, vegetal variety which is a nice change of pace from all the tropical flavored IPA's now on the market.

M. Medium plus body with some hop oil slickness.

O. This is a tasty, easy drinking everyday IPA that delivers a a lot of bang for your buck. If you're into IPA's that you can actually taste the malt in then this is a must try. Easy recommendation and one to have on hand at all times.

Pours a soapy, white head bursting with hop resin that is persistence and leaves sticky lacing all along the edges of the glass. Bright hop aroma smells of grapefruit, though there is some kind of musty, dull aspect hiding in the back. Golden, straw color. Starts off with big bursts of grapefruit citrus and a medium bitterness. Builds into a medium-high bitterness as the hops take on a citrus rind/pine like quality. As the finish comes in, things mellow and a touch of sweet malt comes through, but then that citrus rind hop bitterness just steamrolls it all and lingers.

Overall, a great Midwest IPA; aromatic, hoppy, but not overly bitter. There's plenty of hop flavor and bitterness, but it's all balanced well. I would buy this again without a qualm. Very nice.
