Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a clear amber color and a decent enough head that leaves a bit of lacing

Smell: Shortbread, with citrusy tones

Taste: Shortbread, up front, with a developing citrusy character and a hint of tropical fruit; a bit sweeter than I expected in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: It is nice to see this as an addition to the regular Summit line up as this is a beer I would re-visit, unlike many of the others

12 oz stubby poured into an imperial pint glass, the beer is a crystal clear copper with a large and dense beige head.

I like the aroma of pine and tropical fruit. Fresh and inviting.

I like the little bit of a twist this one has. Yes the bitterness is there but it is softened and enhanced by the tropical almost flowery notes. Caramel malt and a bit more bite midglass.

The mouth is slightly thick and it coats nicely.

I like this one in bottles and on tap. I'm looking forward to cans to take with me on the canoe this summer. Note one of my locals (HB Jones Elmhurst, IL) has this on tap at all times for $4.50 per pint. They offer half price craft beers on Thursdays which bring this to one of the best bargains around... Come on, a great beer at $2.25, that is like 1984 prices.
