A: A cloudy deep gold color pout with a consistend 1/2 finger head. Good lacing and pour with signs of bottle conditioning.

S: A nice funky lemon smell on the front with hops blended well throughout. A little pine but not one of those beers that just smells like a pine forest. Slight grapefruit.

T: Hoppy kick at the front with Grapefruit and lemon taking the lead. Bitterness as expected with IPA and a little malt/funk n it to make it unique.

M: medium-high carbonation with an equal mouthfeel. Sits better than I would've thought from just the appearance and smell.

O: Not in my top IPAs by any means but a solid showing from MN that is worth a try. The cloudy funk mixed with the carbonation and grapefruit spike sets it apart from your traditional offering. Worth a buy if on tap or pick-6

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours a cloudy yellow with light orange hints with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of piney and citrus hops, very nice. Tastes of citrus notes with slight earthy tones. Beer is slightly over carbonated but it is medium bodied and goes down easily. Overall a very good beer.

Saga pours a clearer golden color, with a small lacing head. There is a nice bold floral. The taste is a nice bold floral hoppy flavor finishes wet. Good full flavors, good full body, yet very drinkable. Overall a very nice easy drinking yet bold IPA.

So, killing time on a gd 4 hour layover in St. Paul/Minneapolis airport. Poured by the bartender into a silly little Sam Adams perfect pint tulip. She then ran away with the bottle. Ordered via an iPad that accompanied each stool at the bar. Pretty nifty.

A: Golden yellow with a slight haziness. Good effervescence. 1 finger white head. Sudsy. Very nice lacing and retention. Good so far.

S: Mostly hops in the nose. More citrus-heavy, but some light pine notes. Grapefruit. Lemon. There's a bit of less-than-pristine bar glass funk happening. I don't think it's from the beer. Not so complex, but nice.

T: Solid hop bitterness up front and throughout. Mostly citrus. Grapefruit again. There is some malt for balance, but not too much, which I like. Lingering bitterness of grapefruit pulp on the back end with some faint sweetness. Tasty.

M: Full with moderate carbonation. Very nicely carbonated, actually. Feels great.

O: Never had this before. Hell, never heard of this before, but pretty nice. Don't know if it's worth a 4 hour flight delay, but I like this pretty well. A bit one-dimensional, but leans in the directions I prefer in an IPA. Drank it right down and would do so again, for sure.

Prost!
