Pours a beautiful slightly hazed copper orange hue with bright white head forming thick, fine even spread lacing through the sides of my glass. Aromatics offer up pungent citrus, mild tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, and more grapefruit. I saw citra and a slew of other hops listed on the six pack carrier. Flavor has a nice rounded bitterness, grapefruit peel, tropical fruit sweetness it's kind of like pureed hop juice, a bit of dankness with herbal earthy notes hops across the board very fresh offering this shows no signs of age, it's best by date is 1/26/13 printed on the neck of the bottle plus the label has a code 32411310, probably more which looks like it was brewed on the 241st day of 2013. Mouthfeel is a bit resinous with hop oils medium to light bodied dry finish, this one is very easy to consume not the most aggressive or overly hopped IPA but for sure a solid staple that any true hop head can enjoy.

This is a great IPA (Ameican or even West Coast) effort by Summit. Their traditional IPA is a benchmark, truly fantastic. Saga is also a great example. It looks great, smells better and tastes solid. All the Seven C flavors with a hint of tradition and quality, which lacks in alot of new breweries. Summit never disappoints. They didn't rush to make a hoppy American IPA, and it shows. Thank you Summit.
