Essex is pretty neatly organized and clean. The selection of micros is decent. Stone, troegs, great lakes, dogfish head. Typical macros all over the place. The price is ok. My big issue is the one person that works there is a joke. Very short with answers, doest like to check prices, and isnt just that pleasent to deal with. Honestly ive dealt with this enough and dont mind the extra 10 minute drive up the road to a much nicer store in robinson beverage. Essex is ok but i havent had the need to be back in months now.

Was just driving by and decided to stop in it was nice, neat and organized.
Had a good sized walk in cooler with a decent selection of micro's in it DFH,Victory,Erie,Penn,Troegs,Lancaster not a bad selection of Micros.
I was asked as soon as I walked in if i needed help. I said just looking and asked for some Blackout Stout they said they didn't have it, but would check on getting it if I wanted.
The prices were just a slight bit above average, but not to bad,it was nice to see a good selection of Micros in the cooler. Most places have mostly Macro's in their coolers. They had the normal selection of German beers, limited imports and only a couple of Belgiums (Hoegaarden,Stella)
Not a bad place to stop if you don't want to drive into Pittsburgh.

Very nice clean and modern little distributor located off the Imperial exit on 22/30. You walk in the double doors to see a nice open show room of palates of beer mostly macro, but nonetheless it's nice to see the beer. As far as service the guy working fielding all of my questions and offered to order what he doesn't stalk regularly. As far as the selection goes they carry anything they can get from Penn Brewery, influence of the owner he seemed to be a fan of all of their beers. Not a Belgium to be found and a petite import and micro selection in the showroom some gems like some Anchor and Sierra Neveda, but it's worth a stop if your driving through. I was disappointed that not all of the cases he had were kept cold, but I am glad to have a place close to home that I can grab a case of Erie or Penn brewing.
**edit** This place is a bit better than it used to be, not in customer service but definitely in pricing and craft selection. They stock a little bit of everything...Stone, Penn, Victory, DFH, Bear Republic, Ithaca, Southern Tier, Troeg's, etc.
