Poured a gorgeous cloudy yellow with a thin ring of white head. It looked quite nice, but it was lacking a lot of the normal hefeweizen head, the body however looked excellent. Scents of clove, orange blossoms, yeasty wheat bread and sweet floral aromas. It was a delicate aroma profile, but very nice, quite appetizing and very appealing. Taste began with yeasty wheat bread and wheat cracker, but quickly the wheat was joined by notes of pear, apricot, mild floral hops, sweet spices, particularly clove, and a bit of honey, which became more prominent on the finish and aftertaste. This beer surprises you with it's delicate, yet complex flavor profile. It's excellent. Mouthfeel is light bodied with high carbonation and a drying finish. True to style for a hefeweizen. Overall this is an excellent hefeweizen. It's got the bones of the style, as well as a complexity to it's flavor that puts it easily on par with Weihenstephaner. Well worth drinking.

Pours hazy yellow, big fluffy head, so a classic pour. Few floaties. Out of the ordinary is a huge (!) amount of carbonation.
Sweet banana and clove, some honey and freshly baked bread in the smell.
Really fruity, a nice mix of sweet-sour-acidic: apple, banana, oranges, pear, like a tutti-fruit soda pop, but in a good way. Pretty faint hints of floral honey and caramel, but they do enrich the whole taste. Wheaty bread, clove from the dense yeasts, going to some herbal notes in the lightly bittered finish.
The carbonation doesn't feel as aggresive as it looks, but it's still bigger than in other weizens. Crisp, not as chunky as others.
Nice weizen, easy to drink and tasty.

500ml bottle. Weizen glass. Pale straw color, cloudy appearance. White froth creates a close but lively & poor head. Yeast, banana & fresh bread aromas with slight phenolic notes. Bready & malty flavors at first sip. Medium body. Moderate but lively carbonation. Dense to watery mouthfeel. Low floral bitterness. biscuit & clove notes linger in a sweet malty/slight bitter finish. Estery aftertaste & bread memories. Refreshing & easy drinkable beer.
