[Suggested Glassware: Flute]
The pour was a sparkling clear pale yellow with a huge (3-4 finger) white pillowy head, that receded slowly and lasted throughout with excellent sticky foamy lacing.
The aroma was of light grain and straw malts and a funky Belgian yeast with notes of citrus (lemon), a dusty wood odor, white grapes, apple, apricot and a slight tartness.
The taste was a tad sweet with a good strong grainy yeast presence and a touch of apricot and apple throughout, finishing boldly sour with a hint of white grapes and a light wine presence right at the end. The flavor was short in duration, with the tart fruity taste fading away off the taste buds almost immediately after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a thin dry texture and a very lively carbonation.
Overall I perceived this to be a very good tasting Geuze, with a strong fruity presence which only accented the moderate winey sourness, giving this brew a very enjoyable and easy drinkability...
