Shared by InebriatedJoker as a part of a gueuze tasting.

Appearance
Lemon yellow with a fairly substantial haze. There is a lot of droopy, sliding lace left from a wispy layer of white froth.

Aroma
The smell of this one stood out as being very different from the others. Its cheesy, very cheesy. Funky old soft cheese and old gym socks. Any sourness that might be suggested here is very lactic and vinegary.

Taste
Like the nose suggested, this one is much more lacticly sour than anything else. The end is pretty yeasty and phenolic with a bit of a tinny flavor. A big ol dab of funky cheese is there too.

Mouthfeel
For some reason this beer is a little numbing to the tongue. Carbonation is low, but I can't shake the few metallic and alcoholic flavors that peek out at the back end of this beer.

Overall
I'm not sure, but I think this bottle was a little young. It seems rough around the edges, phenolic and yeasty. I'm sure it could mature into something proper.

2008 vintage.

A. Light straw color. Opaque. Poured full 2 finger fine-bubble, egg shell head that slowly retreats to a film.

S. Neutral oak and wild yeast with some minor notes of light malts and straw/dust. Certainly some funk.

T. Sour on the front. Major notes of sour yeast, and neutral oak. Grass and light malts. Fairly simple but excellent.

M. Smooth. High carbonation. Light body.

O. A staple - very good. Sour and neutral oak, as it should. This is very consistent between metrics. This is certainly recommended to sour fans.

Big and Belgian, that's how I like them. Not in a gay way. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just sayin'. It pours cloudy gold with a soapy white head that shows no sign of letting up before I'm ready to go further. It smells of oranges, peppermint, hay, and a barn. A particular one, not just any one. But I will keep the location secret. Just to be that way. The taste is sour cherries, grass, and a nice bready finish. This is a phenomenally balanced flavor. Not too sour, not too sweet, not too dry. It is the goldilocks of geuze. If they start putting that on the label, I get credit. The mouthfeel is soft, slightly tingly, and light. Overall, I really feel this is a fantastic beer. It may be the best I've had. Nice, nice job.

Pours amber with a lightly packed head.
Nose shows horse blanket, apple, earthy Brett and elderflower.
Moderately acidic flavours, more earthy Brett, apple, pear and elderflower. Quite herbal. Incredibly drinkable.
Carbonation is a bit over the top.
