12.7 oz bottle poured into a DFH Snifter; I'm pretty sure it says that it's good until 2030, so I'm good...
A - Pours a hazy gold with a thick, foamy white head with excellent retention and a slippery lace.
S - Lighter aromas in the nose; mostly citrus with lemon and a bit of Granny Smith Apple.
T&M - Immediately quite sour with a bit of a puckering smack of lemon and pith. Some of the citrus notes carry a bit of sweetness, but this is certainly predominantly tart. The carbonation level seems to fit perfectly. The sour is carried into the finish, but this mostly ends up finishing dry and a bit woodsy, and quite refreshing.
O - Admittedly my first experience with Gueuze, and it's certainly a bit challenging on the palate. Overall I enjoyed the way the sour, tart and pithy notes all played off one another and made this highly drinkable and enjoyable.
