Bottle picked up along my travels.

A - Pours hazy orange with a nice one and a half finger tall white head leaving spotty trails lace down parts of the glass.

S - Smells of cheesy funk, basement must, damp earth, hay, oak and some light citric fruitiness. This is one funky smelling beer.

T - Starts off with the cheesy funk quickly giving way to the must, some barnyard funk, mild citric fruit, oak and the damp earth. Finish is dry, not lingering on the palate for very long. Compared to the nose it is much more balanced, making it surprisingly easy to drink.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Tart, dry feel from start to finish. Not as aggressive as some of the other well known gueuze's are.

O - A pleasant enough gueuze, especially for the money. $10 for a 750ml? It may not be the best out there but I will gladly pay that much for a quality gueuze such as this.

This pours a very pale amber color that is clear with a bubbly, white head. The aroma is a mixture of sweetness mixed with complex yeast strains. The taste is mixture of sweet, tart, and acidic. There is some oak in the flavor but I expected a little more for being aged 2 years in oak. Finishes with a lingering sweet/tart after taste. Not too bad, but there are certainly other geuze beers on the market that I like better.
