250ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£1.59):
A clear amber that borders on caramel with a thin, half cm head that's a bubbly off-white but fades to a tiny, patchy lacing quite quickly. Slightly sour & funky on the nose with a tonne of apple & faint caramel sweetness; definitely unusual. The taste is a little sweeter still, more apples with sugar & caramel but it gets a little sickening pretty fast & is hard to finish.

faro! not everyday you get to have a new beer in this style for sure. it’s been nearly two years since i’ve had some as well. i cycled down to Baarle-Hertog and bought this from the off license which is both in the Netherlands and Belgium, which was really cool. this beer however is not so good. it’s lambic soda really, cloyingly sweet. the funky flavours that manage to claw their way through the sugar are quite nice, some nice vinous notes as well, but the kandij sugar flavour is way too intense. anyway, nice to have something different

250 ml green bottle, a gift from Cunningham - thanks, I owe you one! ABV is 5%. Brown colour, slightly hazy. Large off-white head. Moderate farmhouse aroma, also some less pleasant notes of rotting vegetables and manure. Sweet flavour, too sweet for me, but still better than the aroma. Notes of brown kandij sugar. A very moderate fruity acidity. Not a beer I would buy again.

Cerveza casi translúcida, con menos de un centrímetro de espuma de poca duración. Cuerpo ligero y carbonatación media. Aroma a manzana verde y pera. En boca es afrutada pero bastante insulsa.

A 250ml bottle with a best before date of 23rd January 2019. Poured into a Lindemans flute glass.
Appearance: A clear copper colour with a one finger white head that dissipates quickly but settles to a thin but replenishing layer. No lacing.
Aroma: Sweet-ish plum, apple juice, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar.
Taste: Sweet sweet apple, apple juice, brown sugar and maybe some herbal notes.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with light carbonation.
Overall: This was overly sweet for me, even though it was easy to drink.

Poured to an oversized wine glass.
A: The body is coppery, having orange and darker hues. The head, when poured, was one finger thick; after a while, it's minimal, existing just in the sides of the glass. No lacing.
S: The aroma is very floral, sweet and malty.
T: The taste is very sweet, way to sweet than expected. It's not bad, it just has too much sweetness.
M: The body is medium, bitterness is very low, carbonation is invisible but it's very good.
O: My first Faro and it has a bit overwhelming sweetness but it's cool.
