A: Hazy blond color decent dense head, apparently i should have poured it more carefully a lot of fragments are floating around;
S: rather sweet, grains, apricots, pineapple
T: not delivering on the promise of the nose, some hoppiness, but mainly something soapy overpowering other things.
M: Good thickness good abv but the soapiness bothers
O: this one wasn't great, altough i think that i might have had a bad bottle

300 ml dutch style bottle.
Gold wrap is gone. Lable simplified.
AB INbev is following Heinekens strategy. Blunting and blending all the lables to get more money out of mass produced lower quality.
This triple is trying to piggu back ride on the classic Belgian White, with coriander and orange peel. Added sugar,
It is no longer the tripple I emjoyed in my younger days
Poured at around 6 degrees in a Lachouffe glass.
Dusty amber look. 3-4 finger heas, Low retention, medium lazing.
In the smell you recognize some orange jest. And something spicy, must be the corriandre.
Taste follows smell. Nothing to dislike accept the lack of something special and delicious,
Lacks freshness and bitterness, The corriandre being the main taste there. But not the fresh green leaves, the dusty seeds.
No bad aftertaste, it is sweet without bitter or yeasty attraction.
Commercial industrial middle of the road tripple.
Smartly made, liked by many, loved by none.
And yes, this beer might have been better in the past - I did not keep tracks but I think- explaining the change in ratings.

Darker golden brown color, with a wonderful fruity flavor.

Poured from a small bottle at fridge temp. Pours a slightly murky orange with white head. The nose is wheat, orange, bread, vanilla, apricot, and honey. Lovely.
The taste is great. Wheat, orange, slight citrus peel, grass, wood, honey, and banana. Very smooth and refreshing. I definitely am a fan of this one! Mouthfeel is fairly light and the alcohol is not detectable. Overall, a great tripel.

Poured into a pint glass from the 330ml bottle in Kigali, Rwanda. The beer is a light orange with lots of carbonation. Pure white foamy head. Smell is banana bread and gum. Light apple and citrus above some spice. Light yeast and honey smell also. Solid. Taste is a bit light but has all the typical tripel notes, clove and banana, bread and light yeast. This won't blow you away, but it's great and accessible at a good price. I dig it.

Pours a hazy golden color with a medium top off white head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is of banana, corriander, yeast, bread, peppercorn and candy sugar.
The taste is sweet and dry with some fruity notes allong with some bready malt notes in the back. It then goes to more spicy yeast notes before it finishes of slightly bitter. Aftertaste has a decent lenght.
Mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a medium carbonation and a medium body.
A quite good triple. One of the better beers I have had from Leffe.
