Very interesting beer, the Leffe Blonde - have seen this one on the shelves for a while now, and have been meaning to grab it. Luckily I picked up a mix six pack today, and picked on up.
Pours nicely into my Chimay Chalice. Lovely golden body, with a huge billowing head. Tons of sticky lacing, and very lively carbonation.
Aroma is mildly sweet and spicy. Orange, and pear fruitiness. Along with a nice amount of biscuity malt, and peppery spicy phenols. Great aroma. very approachable.
Leffe Blonde starts off with a nice toasty/biscuity malt base. Soon followed by a touch of light floral hops, along with a peppery spicy phenolic note. Finishes with a delicate amount of sweet fruitiness, and tangy spiciness.
Good beginner Belgian beer, easily approachable, and great to drink on a hot day. Worth a shot.
