pours out a clear rich golden color with mild carbonation and a rich two/three finger head.
The aroma is sweet, kind of like honey. There is a hint of Belgium yeast, which give a little bit of a bread hints to this ale. Light fruits but, nothing is prominent. A rather weak aroma even though all the characteristics of a BPA are present.
The taste is very much the same, as it carries all the characteristics of a BPA. Yet, these flavors are not very strong. Hints of sweet ripe fruit are the most dominate flavor.
The finish is rather slick on the palate yet clean. If you are familiar with Belgium ales, they tend to be unfiltered and more pungent in the fruit aromas. Either way, this ale went down easy, but I have had much better.

Appearance: Very clear bright gold, with a frothy, long-lasting off-white head and a constant flow of "champagne bubbles."
Smell: A pleasant, well-balanced mixture of mandarin oranges, spices, and just a hint of bready yeast in the background. Very true to style.
Taste: Bready malt is at the forefront, but quickly comes into balance with the light orange and spice flavors, as well as a soft bitterness. Could be more complex, but is a solid pick for those who are new to beer and are looking to learn that not everything tastes light bud light.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Smooth and crisp, yet slightly watery. Could be a little fuller.
Overall: A tad simplistic for experienced drinkers of Belgian styles, but remains flavorful, refreshing, and true to style. Something simple that I would recommend to a "beer newbie." Sessionable and easy to find on the shelves--something I would pick up on my way to a spring or summer group picnic.
