A rich golden/copper color with excellent clarity. Pours a big, thick, creamy head. Head is tightly bubbled and long lasting. Very appealing appearance.
Aroma is a little subdued, but had "typical" Belgian yeast esters - a little bit of clove and fruit.
Slight hints of clove and banana up front, giving way to a malty-sweet beer at midtongue. Esters return and are slightly lingering on the finish.
Medium body, with high carbonation. Overall quite smooth and creamy, with only a hint of alcoholic warming.
Good drinkability by Belgian Ale standards. Not overpowering, but a very nice, clean ale.
