Poured into a New Belgium globe.

A - Poured a thick pale head which left a fair amount of lacing. The beer itself is a light gold that has a degree of transparency.

S -Yeast, some subtle sweetness and passive fruits.

T - Some malts, banana, yeast and light fruits. Nothing overpowering here. Leaves much to be desired having had some top tier BPA's. Not horrible by any stretch, but far from optimal.

M - Strong carbonation and an overall low-medium body. Light and refreshing with a mild addition of malts to keep the beer together.

O - This is an excellent introduction to BPA's for those who have yet to explore the realm. There is much that one could improve with this beer, but I may find myself purchasing a few more given the proper time and place.

Poured with a persistent two-finger head. Moderate lacing.

Smell is slightly musty, with some overripe fruit notes.

Mouthfeel is smooth. Not as smooth as an altbier. Slight astringency. Taste is fruity, but without anything definite. Bubblegum, perhaps. If I had to pick, I'd place it near a fruit smoothie, with all of the different fruits blended together into one (not unpleasant) flavor. Some grassy undertones, a hint of wheat.

Like others have said, it's a good way to introduce people to the world of Belgian beer, but compared against the rest of the plethora of Belgian beers, it falls flat.

This beer looks great after the pour, with a golden, light orange-yellow color beneath a massive, fluffy, meringue-like, eggshell-colored head. The aroma is light but pleasant, with a musty yeast character at first that gives way to a combination of light biscuity malts and some bright grassy/floral characteristics. The flavor is similarly a combination of biscuits, grass, and dried herbs. The medium body and light, fine carbonation let this one linger in the aftertaste longer than I'd prefer, though. Overall, this beer is light and drinkable yet has some substance.

Poured into an oversized wine glass. Nice white head and good lacing. Mild smell of bananas, yeast, breadiness and malts. Taste is banana, yeast, breadiness, malty rather than hoppy.

Could have used more zest, flavor, or smell. It's pretty mellow. Not much exciting about this beer but it's not a bad one to try.
