Appearance: ruby colour. Good clarity. The head is beige, moderate in size and kind of creamy. It may not be long lasting but presents lots of lacings.
Aroma: sweet malts, red fruits and alcohol.
Taste: sweet but not cloying, alcoholic vinous, very light herbal hops and spices.
Mouthfeel: unctuous, average to low carbonation, high but very well disguised alcoholic strength (beware!) and a full body.
Finish: starts with a sweet alcohol feeling that turns to a harsh aftertaste.
Overall: nice Leffe with an interesting aroma and reasonably distinct character. Not the best Strong Belgium Ale in the market but quite enjoyable.
Serving type: bottle
