Draught: This one pours a ruby tinged mahogany color. There was a bit of an off white head that lingered and left some lacing. The nose was nice. Notes of cinnamon, toffee, caramel, some yeastiness and some dark fruits. The taste was also good. A bit of cinnamon and other spices, but not overly done. Nice malt body, with notes of toffee, caramel, dark fruits and some yeastiness. A decent brew!

Nov. 2013: 330 ml bottle, soon available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.6%. Beautiful clear reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Pleasant aroma of malts, caramel, brown kandij sugar and mild Christmas spices. Relatively light bodied for its strength and style. The flavour is not as sweet as I feared, but has otherwise the same elements as the aroma. Mild spices and very moderate hops in the finish. Please disregard that it is brewed by the biggest brewery corporation in the world - this is a good beer!

Tried it on tap, color: very clear dark honey.
Smooth two finger head, the color is light chestnut, the foam smells and tastes apple marmelade.
Feels fresh but bit rough on the palate, ends with a smoked hoppy bitterness.
Nose: wood, honey
Taste: I expected more, a bit savoury but overall very light. Nothing in particular but I was able distinguish some fermented fruit and sweet licorice.

Pours a fizzy malty body with caramel head, which slims down rapidly to a thin filmy top in true leffe form.
The Aroma is malty caramel and is pretty pleasant, although not as rich as a typical Belgian Christmas Brew.
Taste is good, as per aroma, with a sweetness which suits.
Feel is definitely on the watery side, and a touch too much effervescence for this to be a contender.
Overall it is good, in the way a standard Leffe Blonde is good, not up to the standard for a Belgian Noël, and not as good as Radieuse, Rituel or Tripel from this brewery.

L - dark bronze with white Lacy head that dissipates quickly
S & T - watery, light malty sweetness, very light bread yeasty, nutmeg
F - bit watery
O - did not like it that much. Very understated aroma and watery quality. This makes it very drinkable, but makes me not really *want* to drink it very much... Try Gouden Carolus Noel for an (in my opinion) way better version of a christmas ale.
I don't recommend this one.

Poured from a bottle glass bought at Carrefour in Brussels.
-Very dark colour. Very opaque. A finger of foam.
-The smell reminds me of the Hefeweizen but less strong.
-The taste is very good.
-The feel is nice.
Overall, a beer worth a try if you're in the session.

Had it several times on tap, mostly in Grenoble. Leffe de Noël shows the characteristics yeast notes from the brewery. This supermarket ale isn't a great example of a christmas ale even if the spicy notes are not that bad

From Uvinum. In La Trappe chalice. Playing Mutant Mudds. Pleasant but a bit watery and a bit more sweet than desiderable. In any case, it can be drinked without much effort. Avg 3.62.
20 Jan 2018. From Hopt. 2017 label. At lunch, after futsal match. With fried fries + eggs and San Jacobo. Very pleasant caramel sweetness, nicely sugary. The spices are very light, hard to perceive. The body is much better than I remembered
