Listed as a Belgian Strong Dark Ale but it looks more like a quad, maybe even a bit light for that. It has a golden caramel color with a thin, soft off-white head that leaves a bit of sticky lace. Smell is caramel, coriander, and a slight hop floral smell. The taste is dominated by the caramel, with a slightly drier woody aftertaste. Basically, what the smell smells the taste delivers, so no surprises there. Mouthfeel is a lightly carbonated with a nice substantial stickiness that coats the tongue. Overall, a good beer. Pretty drinkable and nicely balanced. I've always liked Leffe's blonde and if you like that, you'll like this more.

A: Light mohoganny. Medium-high effervescence. No floaties. One inch of thick white foam.

S: Spicey and brisk. Coriander upfront with an assortment of other spices also detectable at the back.

T: Medium high intensity. Follows on the nose. Slight hop flavour detectable.

P: Bitterness low. Medium to full bodied. Low carbonation. Alcoholic flavours blend well and are enjoyable overall.

O: Polished, sophisticated and of enough complexity even if it's not a very bold take on the style.

T: bit tannic, husky malty grain, some oak? some hint of vanilla, has got some whisky-like finish. hint of alcohol sweetness
M: very elegant touch, finishes dry, with a hint of sweeness
O: as i put it, this beer has some finesse to the taste. it does NOT have the strong phenols of the blond that i tasted. a good beer.

I like Leffe , it has a good reputation it scores well in bars as they have easy accessible uncomplicated brews steers the young clear of the terrible mass produced lagers.
Orange brown colour, creamy head, nice carbonation. Great lacing.
Citric aroma, a little bit of banana in there. Also some pine.
Taste is quite bitter. Crisp clean finish.
Pretty good beer, actually. It's balanced with sweet and bitter, it's refreshing and has a pleasant aftertaste as well.
