Yukon Brewing 'The Angry Hessian' @ 5.0% , served from a 650 ml bottle purchased for $7
A-pour is gold from the bottle to a clear amber in the glass with a small beige head leaving a fine spotty lace along the stein
S-pumpkin spices (nutmeg & cinnamon)
T-sweet start , tad watery mouthfeel
MF-ok carbonation , weak medium body
Ov-dissapointing/weak pumpkin beer for it's name

The best pumpkin ale I've experienced to date.
Is name is the dollop of whip cream on top that comes with your pumpkin pie lol.
Love this one.

Pours from the 650mL bomber a caramel-orange-ish-copper colour, topped by three fingers of foam that recede fairly quickly to a dense ring and lots of lacing. Not a tremendous amount of visible effervescence.
Smell is pumpkin pie spice, naturally. Clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, and all that jazz. Maybe a touch of vanilla. And some bready malt. Slight yeastiness.
Taste is crisp, with some toasted/roasted bready malts (this almost reminds me of an Oktoberfest with pumpkin spice added), and then the smattering of pumpkin spices: again, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, graham cracker. Body is light but acceptable, carbonation is a touch higher than accepted but still fine.
All told, a solid example of the style: but then the problem is that there are so many solid examples of the style. Worth trying, but not on my all-time list of favourites.

650 ml big bottle, label as shown.
Pours a clear, copper color with a foamy cream colored head. Fades quickly, minimal lace.
Hint of pumpkin, and spices, cinnamon and nutmeg smell.
Taste of caramel malts, pumpkin spices (same as smell), not much pumpkin flavor, but spices leave a nice finish.
Medium body and carbonation, crisp finish.
A decent pumpkin ale, but have had better.

Appearance - Pours a clear copper with a finger of foamy cream coloured head.
Smell - hint of pumpkin spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, hint of clove), toasted malts, caramel, hint of pumpkin.
Taste - Similar to the aromas. Hint of pumpkin and pumpkin spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, hint of clove), toasted malts, and caramel. The pumpkin spices linger.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes with the pumpkin spices.
Overall - A pumpkin ale that has the key spices in place, however, I was hoping for more pumpkin in this one.
