Beer is yellow and hazy with a thin white head of small bubbles, low retention, no lacing, low carbonation.

Aroma is yeasty with this off aroma in there like the beer was fermented too hot. Mildly fusel.

Beer is medium to light in body, sweet up front, yeasty / bready in the middle and nothing on the back end. Nothing much to say about this beer except that it is boring and didn't taste too good and I won't have another.

Thanks to my folks for pickipg up this out of reach Oklahoma beer while they were in Arkansas.

Pale hay and sunshine color, but you can see the great bubbling of this wheat ale all day. Good head, foam and lacing throughout all twelve ounces!

Dried banana meat and peel with just lihtly toasted and untoasted barley and wheat aroma. Dry, sweet, sweet, and tart overall.

Mild toasting adds some cracker flavors. Yeast has some odd fruit flavors and a somewhat chalky dry palate.

Not a bad session wheat, chalky, dry, and keeps your thirst never quite quenched.

Poured into te Boston Lager glass...

A: pours a very hazy yellow-orange with a 1 finger white head with good retention and leaving small streaks of lacing.

S: a bouquet of banana bread, orange peel, and slighlty spicy. very strong and nice.

T: light creamy orangey flavors upfront fade to a spicey yet creamy, tart finish. very unique and quite enjoyable. isn't as fruity or spicy as other wits i have tried, but this light flavor will give this one higher scores on drinkability.

M: light and very lush, with a light carbonation and an off dry finish.

Overall, I felt this beer was damn good. The flavor and mouthfeel are very unique, being light on flavor and body with a suprising creamy quality. Would buy this again if it were more available to me.

Bottle into pint glass

A: Gold with almost no head.

S: Lemon and orange peel with coriander.

T: Clean, spicy tart. Bad spice finish.

M: Crisp. Doesn't leave the aftertaste of the finish.

O: It was fairly good, but not something I'll buy again. One of the worst Choc beers I've had.

There’s really nothing more pretty than a Belgian Wheat served in the proper glassware. Waving Wheat doesn’t disappoint in that regard, as the cloudy unfiltered appearance lends the beer a certain appearance. It just looks right. I only wish that the head, which is just barely there, were more prominent. Still, this is one gorgeous beer. The first aroma is of wheat, like fresh wheat that was just harvested. There’s a little bit of clove in the background as well. In the taste, wheat takes a background to the spice profile, clove and coriander. Orange zest and bitterness comes through in the middle. This beer finishes with almost a spicy, black pepper like finish. Mouthfeel is slick and creamy, and the bitterness is understated. Probably my favorite of the Choc “story series”, at least so far (I have a couple left to try). This one is an easy drinker as the others have been, but the unique spice profile makes it stand out more when compared to other beers within the style. Very enjoyable take on the style.

Bottle courtesy of a generous trader. Served in a Hill Farmstead wine glass.

Pour yields a hazy light apricot color with a very short white head that even a good swirl or two cannot resuscitate. The nose brings a bit of light coriander spice plus some light citrus and grainy wheat. The flavor has some spice as well along with a touch of sweetness. Feel is a bit light and undercarbonated. Drinkability isn't bad at all, though it's not something I would seek out again.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very cloudy, almost murky gold color. A good amount of sediment. White head holds for a few, then fades while leaving a nice ring of lace.

Nose is pleasant, some Belgian yeasty notes, along with some spice. Orange and lemon zest round things out.

Tart up front, with some citrus and earthy notes. Some yeasty flavors come in, but not as much as the nose led on.

Lighter body with refreshing carbonation. Refreshing as well. A pretty good example of the style.

A: Pours a slightly hazy, pale golden color with no real head and some lacing.

S: Primarily a grainy aroma with a trace of citrus.

T: Has a mild citrus and spice flavor with a slightly sticky aftertaste.

F: Light body, fairly crisp & dry, somewhat refreshing. Just a bit too sweet.

D: Not a beer I would go out of my way for, as I am not partial to Witbier. Came as part of a Choc 6-pack mixer.

Tart, sour slightly phenolic initial aroma. The spices hit next (coriander?) and a pale wheat malt. Orange comes in in time too. Nice complexity, but within the range of typical.
Poured into a 7 oz glass. Very white head that settled out fairly rapidly. Very clear (poured to enhance). Pale golden.
A little heavy on the tart, pushing more to sour and almost like a sour beer in intensity. I really like the softness of the feel. Subtlier flavors - soft wheat, very tame on the spices with a citrus type tartness.
This is perfectly drinkable, but the flavor will keep me from seeking it out.

A-Bright glowing yellow

S-Spicy..black.pepper...anise....some orange peel...

T-Spicy on the taste too...Zesty...some citrus tartness as well...

M-Medium bodied....creamy textures with a mild tartness on the finish.

D-A little too unbalanced leaning too far on the spices in my opinion...Not bad.

This one waved a pretty vibrant golden yellow at me. It was very murky with a modest white head that faded a bit too quickly.

The aroma was inviting and refreshing on this hot Oklahoma summer day. Sweet wheat tones and ample coriander made up a relatively simple nose.

The flavor, on the other hand, was not so simple. It shared same base as the nose with an added bonus of flavors not usually found in a wheat; apple pie, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spice. Excellent unexpected twist.

The feel was fluffy and chalky towards the end. The carbonation does enough to keep it sharp without disrupting the smooth delivery. Good tasting wheat beer for sure.
