From BeerAdvocate magazine Issue #64 (May 2012):
LOOK: Hazed yellow straw hue, big fluffy white head
SMELL: Bready, lemony twang, dusty yeast, vegetal, vague spice
TASTE: Light smoothness, pale malt, bready, faint twang, yeast, clean, modest hop bitterness, semidry finish
It is what it is—a no-frills beer style, and Choc Beer Co. does well here by creating just that. Balanced and easy to drink, they could have followed another path to set it apart from the rest; extra hopping perhaps would have livened it up.
