Great beer!

Though very hoppy for a pale ale. Woud easily pass as an IPA. But it's an OPA after all, and maybe that's what they are like?

Copper, orange, hazy appearance.

Fruity smell, some butter and herbs.

Bitter and tangy and very smooth in your mouth. Citrus and pine in the hops, clear water, straightforward clean and still gritty pale malts.

Very pleasing breakfast beer. Best consumed with some Oklahoma Joe's BBQ.

The appearance is a nice brown, a bit dull

Descent smell. The high hops cause it to smell as much like Everclear as it does beer.

The appearance is medium, dull brown.

This is the best pale ale I've ever had.

The mouthfeel is like a condom wrapping around the tongue.

The is the only pale ale I've ever partially enjoyed, but it's still too hoppy and I wouldn't have it again. Compared to preferred styles, I'd give this a 2.5

P:  An airy cloud of 1/2 inch bone colored head that hovers over a body with the appearance of hazy pale apple cider.  Head recedes to a milky top with with nice, rather thick, clingy lacing.

S:  The nose opens up fresh and full of sunny citrus hops, mangos, apricots, sourdough bread, and dried hay. Pale malts, honey sweetness and subtle yeast contribute to this vibrant nose.

T/M:  Mouthfeel is unique light but at the same time the bitterness clouds the palate and creates a film to provide a much fuller feeling body.  Prickly carbonation and herbal hops combined with a sweet citrus bitterness.  Sun scorched grass, cereal grains, dehydrated marshmallows, and the ever encompassing persimmon bitterness. Finish is slightly chalky and dry with a lingering copper taste.

O:  Well done!  This is a hopped up APA that is sure to please. At first I was unsure but the further into it I got the more I liked it.  The mouthfeel is something I've never experienced before but was really enjoyable.  Another solid offering from Choc.

A - Hazy amber body with a 2 finger head that creates sudsy lacing down the side of the glass.

S - Sweet citrus, very floral, mint leaves, mild pale malt.

T - Floral and green herbal hops right up front, dried grapefruit peel, hints of lemon, dry pale malt, bitterness starts building through the finish in the form of herbal tea tannins. The finish is dry with a floral aftertaste.

M - Medium body, moderate soft carbonation.

A nice dry-hopped Pale Ale with plenty of hop flavor. The citrus was alot drier than the nose let on. Lots of floral and herbal goodness, ABV is hidden very well. A solid drinker.

Pours a hazy golden, with a small creamy white head. Smells of some lemon peel and a hint of grain. Taste begins with an herbal, leafy flavor, followed by some mild sweetness. Then a hint of aspirin, and a ton of lemon. It finishes off with a huge grassy component. Mouthfeel is rich, nice low carbonation. Overall an excellent beer, nice hop flavor, but sturdy malt to back it up.

Oklahoma Pale Ale poured honey-blonde, hazed, and just a bit shy of two fingers worth of off white tight foam. This beer laced beautifully with a tight webbing of micro bubbles leaving pronounced rings with each sip.

Aroma is typical of the sort. Pronounced grapefruit peels, green grass, and honey bisquits.

Flavor is very similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Nice floral hops, honey, bisquit dough, and a bit peppery once it's down. Very good.

Light to moderate texture with ample carbonation. This one left my throat a bit irritated as some beers do, not too bad though.

A good beer overall.
