Pours a pale straw-yellow with a thin foamy head that quickly dissipates. N
Smell is muted, but has a light toasted grain aroma and some obvious hop scents that lend it a slightly floral scent.
Flavor is pretty fruity; moreso than I expected. A crisp pear flavor dominates over toasty malt and lingers in the finish.
Overall: Not bad, but not really great. Kind of a crips, peary brew, but that's about all you can say for it.

The beer poured crystal clear pale straw. The head was white an moussy and fell back to lace the glass.
The aroma was malty and crisp. A slight fruitiness was present, but no overpowering aromas.
The flavor was crisp with a slight fruitiness, but a substantial hop bitterness backbone. The malt hits the tongue and is immediately transformed from slightly sweet to dry and bitter. The bitterness is just a slight bit harsh and in need of some balance.
The finish was dry and slightly bitter that lasts into the aftertase. The body was medium.
11.2 ounce flip top bottle. Godd through 3-13-04 on back label.

Clear yellow color with a thick head. Spotty lacing developed through the drink. Aroma was average as some maltiness was detected. This had a decent flavor as malt, slight lemon, and some bitterness were nicely balanced. This was on the heavier side of a light bodied lager. The mouthfeel was clean with some mellow crispness. Nicely drinkable, but not overly exciting in the flavor department. An overall decent brew.

On draft at Ludwigs Oktoberfest street party. This lager poured a bright golden color. This is an ultra smooth beer. Buttery smooth, light and crisp. Its full of flavor and has a decent malt body to it. Slightly sweet with grains and finishes very clean. I thought that this beer was available only after Nov. 1st, so this must be a very fresh batch. At least it tasted very fresh. A very nice lager beer.
