Cerveza de color cobrizo con un dedo de espuma de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma tostado y a caramelo. Sabor dulce con un ligero amargor.

De Corte Ingles. En copa Teku. Estudiando ENS. Muy buena, con bastante mas cuerpo del habitual. Su sabor quizas no llegue al sobresaliente pero feel si: incita a bebersela de un trago

500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/3/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear very dark reddish brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, brown bread, light nuttiness, raisin, plum, fig, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity and solid balance of dark/bready malt, earthy hops, and moderate dark fruit notes; with solid strength. A bit too fruity in the nose, but not bad. Taste of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, dark bread, light nuttiness, herbal, slight fruitiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Slight herbal/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cocoa, coffee, toast, toffee, dark bread, light nuttiness, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nice and clean flavors with minimal yeast esters present in the taste. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very good schwarzbier style. All around good balance and robustness of dark/bready malt and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

A: The beer is very dark garnet in color (black when viewed from a distance) and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that gradually died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles in the center of the glass and a thick collar around the edge.
S: Light to moderate aromas of malt extracts are present in the nose along with some hints of roasted malts.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of malt extracts and toasted malts along with slight hints of sweetness and roasted malts plus a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but isn't quite as complex as other beers in the style.
