I really enjoyed the aroma of this beer. At a lower temperature the aroma was sweeter and gave off a milky aroma reminiscent of whipped cream. As it warmed up the chocolate malt became a little more prevalent. I was a little disappointed with the taste and mouthfeel of this beer as I found it to be a little on the thin side, and lackey complexity. Overall an above average beer.

Has a slight coffee color to the head. To dark to see through when held to light in a pint glass. Starts with a hint of English ale yeast and finishes with touch of roast and light smoke. I have liked this beer from the first time I tryed it. In my top 5 oatty stouts. Good job to the brewers.

Nice, deep black stout, reamy mocha head. Aroma is slightly sweet, nutty, toasted dark grains, mild espresso notes, fudge. Quite complex nose. Mouthfeel is great, smooth, luxurious and creamy; classic oatmeal stout. Taste isn't quite as exuberant as the aroma, but it still has some high notes, like more coffee, dark grains, bittersweet chocolate and a mild hop finish.
Solid oatmeal stout, glad I found this.
