On tap at Willimantic, served in a pint glass.
Appearance - Hazy orange body with a small white head. It's gone very quickly with no lace.
Smell - Yeasty and wheaty. Sweet Belgian candi sugar aroma and a bit of pepper. Smells like a saison, sorta.
Taste - Yeasty flavor up front with some sweetness, but not from the malt. It finishes with a bit of bitterness and some pepper.
Mouthfeel - Surprisingly not dry, considering the ABV and what seems to be sugar additions. Medium bodied and kinda heavy for a BPA. Sweet and bitter finish.
Overall - Not bad, but not complex and not very interesting.
