Do i feel lucky?
Macro color and look..very fizzy head. Started pouring a bit on the agressive side and thought whoa..overflow...nope...just slacked off the pour and the fizziness took care of the rest. Noted a hint of lacing though.
No real aroma noted..which is good ( no corn, skunk, cabbages, sewage) and bad ( what the hell is in here...vodka, methanol, ,) So i can neither slam or endorse.
Taste..pretty innoculous..no real bad flavors, but none of the good one's, ( bold cracker like malt, crisp hop) that make a good macro lager. This has a bit of a bite @ first, nothing nasty, and then a hint of sweetness..again nothing nasty. Finish is quite drying.
Given how fizzy it was on the poour, the carbonation level seems a bit flat.
Scoring it average on drinkability given it's A: Very affordable read: cheap) and goes down much easier than most of it's cheap brethern

If i'm thinkin' right,Lucky Lager was once famous for its 11 oz stubby bottles featuring a rebus under the cap.
From what i've heard, since the closure of the Tumwater brewery, this famous bottle has been discontinued...
I first tried this in Alaska back in 94' and it was a great lager then-drinking it while watching northern lights in Valdez & while playing guitar at the Bluegrass festival in Anderson that summer...i'm not sure if anything is the same about that beer now....
...not sure if anything in the world is the same as it was in 94' actually...some things are better, alot of things are worse...fortunately for us,beer (it's availability & diversity) with the "Craft Beer-Boom" is way better now than in 94'
...of course, the "bubble" is coming, they say...we'll see if alot of great beers soon go the way of the dinosaurs like "lucky lager" or not..until then,"Cheers".
Brad Pitt in the movie "Kalifornia": "Adel, we are going to hike up that mountain that says Hollywood on it.We're gonna drink some Lucky Lager and howl at the moon...ow ow owww!"

Picked a 473 ml can up from the beer store since it happened to be $2.00 CDN and I was return 20 cans @10 cents apiece. Poured in a pint glass.
Appearance - Aggressive pour yielded over 2 fingers of foam which did dissolve quickly but was nonetheless decent. A weak off yellow color is featured. The beer itself just from its appearance looks thin but we will see. Some lacing in the glass.
Smell - Grains, grassy notes. Both are faint and there's not much there. This would be expected from a light beer but at almost 5%, I was expecting something on those nose for better or worse.
Taste - Like the nose, thin tasting a vague sweetness that assuredly comes from the adjuncts.
Mouthfeel - Wet, thin with minimal aftertaste. Almost feels like it should be a light beer because there is very little of substance. Some carbonation and its probably the right amount, but still just "meh".
Overall - Wet and would do the job on a hot summer's day but unless you're looking for a a cheap fix of mediocre beer, I can't see anyone sitting down and enjoying this. On the positive side, if you don't mind the beer, at almost 5% it could be a cheap drunk beer.
