Style | ABV
American Adjunct Lager |  6.10% ABV

Availability: Year-round

Notes/Commercial Description:
Labatt Bleue Dry, the second addition to the Bleue family, is brewed with the same care and attention to detail as Labatt Bleue. Labatt Bleue Dry is mashed longer than regular beers to leave less carbohydrate (sugar) in the finished beer, giving a clean, crisp finish. Using select aromatic hops and a blend of the finest quality North American barley malts, this lager is clean-flavoured with no aftertaste.

A: Golden yellow. Weak little head.

S: Wet grass clippings. Not good.

T: Same as the smell with a odd skunky hop bite that reminds me a lot of Budweiser. The taste stays which is not supposed to happen with a dry beer. I find the finish offensive. Wors part of the beer.

M: Again the taste stays when it shouldn't. The carbonation is nice though.

O: Almost exactly the same as Budweiser, but maybe even worse. Im drinking this in Montreal as we speak. Molson is a much better Canadian beer, but I prefer good ol' American beer overall.

Labelled as "Blue Dry". 341 ml twist off bottle.

It pours a clear gold with a fizzy white head.

Smell is corn, rotten fruit, and alcohol.

Taste is corn, metal, sweetness, not really that dry of a finish but I would think some corn syrup was added. No hops.

It is like a glorified malt liquor, it isn't awful and has a great mouthfeel actually but it is still an adjunct laden brew.

710ml can

Kind of clear golden color, non-lasting white head foam.
Active effervescence.

Smell is not very present. Subtil cereal smell of some kind.
It is cornu i guess.

Taste is crisp and clear but not that strong.
Flavors are not well defined. Présence of alcool.
Very basic taste.

Mouthfeel. Fine and active carbonation
Aftertaste is a bit chewy.

Overall I like the big CAN format, made to ne drink fast
On a hot summer day, good way to start
A party With one of this, do not use for fine degustation

This is easily the most vile disgusting beer i've ever drank. In fact its most likely the worst liquid i've ever had. My friend left a forty of this stuff in my fridge and i decided to play beer pong with it, thinking that might be a proper use. This beer looks like dark piss and smells like it. The taste and mouthfeel were so syruppy and vile that i literally almost vomited. I could not finish three cups of this stuff. Dont ever buy this beer,

this site has the abv wrong its 10.2%

This is the kind of beer you buy when you don't know what to buy in front of the store fridge... Cheap and strong alcoohol %. Honnestly, I like it but it's not something you buy for the taste, it's because you don't have to drink more than 12 bottles to be drunk... is it a real beer? You decide.

Picked up a bottle at a Montreal corner store.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow straw colour with a tiny white head that vanishes with a blink.

Aroma: Mostly some sugary corn pops, but a good helping of fresh grass and floral hops.

Taste: Very unoffensive when served cold. Sweet up front with a bit of biscuits in there. Hop prescense is actually noticeable, low bitterness, but still there.

Mouthfeel: Sharp & fizzy, just as a Labatt should be. A little more body than a normal Blue.

Final Statement: A better version of Blue IMO. Can hardly notice they extra alcohol in flavour. It's not a great beer, but a good macro lager. I'd buy this for binges if available in the maritimes.

341 ml brown bottle.

A- Clear pale golden colour. Nice bubbles. Quickly dissapearing white head.

S- Grassy-floral hops. Faint green grape fruity note.

T- Basic mild pale lafer. Middle too watery. Hops OK but lacking intensity. Although flavour is not pronounced, balance is good. Not a beer that improves as it warms, though it remains drinkable.

MF- Decent body for the style. Pleasant if unexceptional. Good carbonation level.

D- Very easy to drink. Decent macro. Refreshing beer with a little more alcohol kick.

Bottle: Poured a golden yellow color lager with a small bubbly white head with no retention. Aroma of adjunct is quite powerful and repulsing. Taste is sweet with some foul adjunct and corn traces. Worse then I had imagined and way worse then the regular Blue.
