Okay, I don't think this beer is as bad as is showing from previous reviews. It's not spectacular, but (IMHO) it's far better than most macros.

It starts with a good head and nice lace. It has darker amber color and appears to be clear.

Caramel flavor and aroma. The smell being far more grainy than anything else. The taste ends with a decent hop finish. The flavor reminds me of Killian's. The body is a clear miss--being far too thin for the style.

I wouldn't place this beer into the same category as Bud or Miller (both figuratively and literally). Euro Dark? Not the greatest, but drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a light brown color beer with a small bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of unrefined grain with some light adjunct base sweetness. Light body with low carbonation. This is pretty bad overall thought not as much as I expected. I guess it tread in the same water then Rickards does.

A- Ok initial head. Dark copper colour. Some effervescence. Head goes down a little fast but leaves some lacing.

S- Basic macro beer. Light malt with a touch of alcohol.

T- Dissappointing. OK sweet pale malt flavour but little caramel or roast to go with the colour, though these show up faintly as the beer warms. Slight bitter jops aftertaste.

MF- Medium-light lager with some lager crispness. Not bad, but not exciting either.

D- Easy drinker. Better than most macros but definitely not up the standards of Quebec's regional craft brewer's (many of which are just as easy to find and sell for the same price).

2 for one pint of draught

A: dark artificial copper colour (probably artificial coloration) chimical head that doesn't last.
S: industrial pale lager nose.
T: same as the St-Urbain blonde
D: headache beer, nice aptemp by Labatt to discredit micro-brewed beer,
