Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Attractive, dark mahogany with a creamy tan 1 finger head that leavs nice lacing.
aroma: somewhat muted but toasted caramel malt and a faint hoppiness.
mouthfeel: some viscosity.
taste: exactly like the aroma; toasted caramel malt, wiith just a touch of hops.
Notes: from their Brewmasters pack. This beer completely exceeded my expecations and is a tasty little brown ale sipper. Would buy if sold separately.

11.5 ounce bottle, no bottle date. A friend gave me a bottle to try. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a burnt orange/brown color with an inch off-white head. The head sticks around a while, and there isn't much lacing. The brew smells like toasted and bready malt, toffee, and nuts. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some herbalness and a light apple flavor too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating with moderate carbonation. Not a bad brew, worth a try if you can pick up a single somewhere.

A - light brown in color, creamy ivory head
S - sweet malt, grain, caramel, toffee
T - earthy, sweet, brown malt, mild chocolate, grass, herbal, flavors do not meld well; rather harsh flavors
M - lighter body, ample carbonation, finishes bitter and semi-dry leaving a herbal, grassy taste
O - not terrible, drinkable, but not worth buying again

A - Looks like a light brown ale, clear in color with a 1/4 inch of opaque colored head.
S - Smells pretty good actually. Toasted malts, touch of chocolate, brown malts, and some hops.
T - This is the best beer in the brewers collection pack. Light crisp hops, brown malts, mild chocolate sweetness in the finish, and above all no typical skunky Labatt flavors!
M - The body could use a bit more chewiness but it was pretty good.
Overall they made a pretty nice brown ale. Well worth the price of admission for just a buck. Might go back and snag a couple more.

Pours out a brownish red hue with a thin tan head that has really good retention and fine lacing. The smell is of some malts, and a nutty aroma. The taste starts out with some malts, slight hops and a nutty finish and after taste. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy with a dry finish and overall a nice mild brown beer that is worthy of a try for first time drinkers of the style.

12 ounce bottle, w/o bottling date or freshness info.
Pours murky and brown, like a brown ale should be. Light tan head, minor development and limited retention. Leaves a mottled film, and some low sheeting and spots of lace.
Just a hint of malt for the nostrils.
Easy drinking and pleasant enough. Malty, with another hint of darker malts and perhaps some nuts in the background.
Nothing special here, just a hint more malt and flavor then the typical Labatt offerings.
Would work best perhaps as a part of a marinade for some pork or chicken
