I feel there are many better shandy's out there. I also would rather have a labatt with lime apparently.

About on par with Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. Consistent, lemony, and thoroughly drinkable.

I spied this recently at Country Garden 6-Pack and given today's heat and humidity, I am anxious to give it a whirl.
From the bottle: "Refreshing Lager Beer with a Splash of Lemon".
It was a screw-top bottle, so I got things unscrewed and commenced a heavy-handed pour, producing two-plus fingers of foamy, bone-white head with moderate retention. Color was a slightly hazy Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 - 2). Nose had a sweet lemon scent, like Country Time Lemonade that I used to sell as a kid. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium. The taste was lemony, but a bit too sweet for my liking. A shandy/radler should be more tart than sweet to enhance its refreshing nature, IMHO. Finish was semi-sweet, refreshing, but with room for improvement.

Pour a Labatt into a glass. Squeeze the fuck out of a lemon into the beer. Wala - Shandy.

Bought as part of a case of Labatt Brewers Collection Summer beers from Southtown Beverages on 4/26/13. Case price $ 10.99.
poured from a 11.5 oz bottle into a glass tumbler, served at fridge temp.
appearance: pale gold, one finger white head, scant lacing.
aroma: pale malty with a good amount of lemon.
mouthfeel: decent, just shy of full.
taste: pale malt and artificial lemon.
notes: the artificial lemon is offputting.
