First off, I really like the presentation of this beer. The white label with the golden dragon they put over the bottle is pretty cool.
Appearance: A dark tanned leather color that turns ruby around the edges. There is a great deal of light tan head that has awesome retention.
Smell: Caramel, dark fruits, and alcohol dominate the nose. I can also pick up something a little buttery in the scent as well.
Taste: Really great, complex malt flavors. Caramel and cherries as well. This is a complex, balanced beer that has a distinct spiciness at the end.
Mouthfeel: Not great. Medium body, but there was a lot more carbonation than I was expecting. The carbonation left kind of a sharp sensation on the tongue that I didn't care for.
Drinkablility: I liked this beer a lot. Mouthfeel wasn't quite what I hoped, but definitely worth a try.
