Poured form bottle into Sam Adams pint glass. Poured clear, but cloudy--interesting. Some head that seems to linger a bit.
Smells acrid, yeasty, and sour, but in a pleasant way. Smells almost like a brewery.
Tastes how it smells. Very nice flavor--amazing how different this is from even the best domestic craft beers. This is the third or fourth I've tried from this brewery, and all have had two things in common--depth of flavor, and great mouthfeel. This is no exception in either category. Mouthfeel is good and creamy...
Overall, it's another winner for Brouwerij Van Steenberge.
