Fantastic! One of the best Belgians I have had in quite a while. Poured a much lighter colour than I thought it would have. A slightly cloudy golden orange. Fluffy white head about 20mm thick. Seemed to have decent retention. Nice lacing. Smell was very strong. It had a musty smell that reminded me of a lambic, which I liked, but it had a powerful alcohol / phenol smell that I didn't care for as well. The taste was very nice. A fair amount of spice and again, reminded me a little of a lambic or a saisson. Delicious. Great job on concealing the 8.0%abv, too. Very smooth and easy to drink, even at this carbonation level, Over all, I though it was a fantastic choice. I would definately buy this again.

This beer is definitely underated. The mouthfeel is wonderful, really champagne-like. The taste Is herbal and fruity but all in all, it's very delicate. Greatness from history. Phenoly, estery, grainy and a bit spicy. Clear and balanced

Pours a hazy golden color with long lasting bubbly head.
Aroma of spicy phenols, Belgian yeast, some clove and candy sugars
Flavors of peppery phenols, clove, yeasty Belgian goodness with a dry finish.
Mouthfeel is warming, chewy and carbonated. Leaves a slight alcohol
presence in the finish
Overall I'm very happy with m selection. I picked this up on a whim as I love trying obscure Belgians, especially tripels and I would definitely buy this again.
