Smell: sweet butter cream, hints of malts, and milk chocolate
Taste: subtle marmalade, butter cream, malts, hints of candied green apples and brown sugar with a mild whiskey bite
Sorry, but I haven't actually paired this beer to anything, however, it would more than likely be good with some smoked pork, Cotswold cheese, and black grapes

Been passing up on trying this beer for a very long time.
Great malty tone to this with a distinct and consistent sweet edge. Way too easy to drink. Strikes me much more as a strong amber ale, but who cares. It's a nice hearty ale that carries mellow, yet pointed, sweet tones. Like I said, way too easy to drink. A great beer.
