Poured from a corked and caged 750 ml into a tulip. Dark orange/medium amber beer with a huge number of effervescent tiny bubbles and a cream colored, dense head. Completely clear. The nose is bready, like a lightly toasted challah. Orange marmalade, toast, and toffee on the tongue, with a tad of alcoholic warming on the finish. Spritzy and medium-bodied. A bit unusual for a "quad," in that it presents very much like a trippel, in color, nose and flavor profile. An outstanding beer.

Been passing up on trying this beer for a very long time.
Great malty tone to this with a distinct and consistent sweet edge. Way too easy to drink. Strikes me much more as a strong amber ale, but who cares. It's a nice hearty ale that carries mellow, yet pointed, sweet tones. Like I said, way too easy to drink. A great beer.
