Served in a Duvel tulip.
A Opaque, deep amber with a white head that last longer than expected with the given abv. Lighter than other quads I have had.
S Darkfruit. Figs, dates, raisins. Molasses, brown sugar, caramel, toffee.
T All of the aroma is magnified in the taste. Sweet, yet surprisingly refreshing for a quad. Dried dark-fruit. Raisin bread, caramel, toffee, prunes, dates, etc...
M Really great mouthfeel. High carbonation cuts through what would otherwise be an overly viscous feel. Each sip leaves you wanting more.
O A really good quad. Overall a tad lighter in each category than what I prefer for the style. On its own, however, a really great beer.

Been passing up on trying this beer for a very long time.
Great malty tone to this with a distinct and consistent sweet edge. Way too easy to drink. Strikes me much more as a strong amber ale, but who cares. It's a nice hearty ale that carries mellow, yet pointed, sweet tones. Like I said, way too easy to drink. A great beer.
