Triumph- Kellerbier

Appearance- hazy yellow with a big bubbly white head. Heavy lacing on the glass.
Smell- grass and hay. Very earthy hop aroma.
Taste- Sunflower seeds, soy beans, grass, and hay/ straw.
Mouthfeel- Slight dry bitterness up front but finishes off with bold.

Overall- An excellent session beer. This beer appears often on tap and there's a good reason why. Maybe this should become 1 of their staple beers.

Poured a slightly hazy medium straw hue with a two finger foamy white head. There was good retention and very good sticky lacing.

The smell featured a sharp herbal hop and a light grain.

The taste consisted of a fullblown spicy noble hop, with a grainy pilsner malt.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a tasty and fresh kellerbier. Very nice.

My third taste was the Kellerbier. It was a darker gold with a little cloudieness. The smell was a stronger one of malt and hops with a little bit of fruit in the background. A robust lager with what seems to be the hallmark of Triumph, a good blend of malt and hops with some cherry taste. The lager shifted the balance and we found more of both malt and hops here. The feel was slightly oily with a crisp finish. A good lager and one that I would try again.

A frothy white head graces this unfiltered lager beer for quite some time, and then leaves some very nice lacing about the glass with each sip. Its cloudy yellow-gold body resembles a hefe-weizen, and very fine bubbles can be seen rising steadily throughout the pint. The nose is yeasty and sulphurish over some sweetish, hay-like and bready maltiness with just a hint of floral hoppiness making its way through. The body is medium, and it's very fine and natural carbonation gives a quick, gentle zest to the tongue before softening to become smooth and even somewhat creamy across the palate. The flavor is a bit yeasty as well, but that fades quickly as its delicately sweet malt and floral/grassy hops comes into play. A solid but unobtrusive bitterness balances it quite well, and it finishes dry with its grainy malt and grassy hops lingering in the aftertaste. It could certainly use some more lagering time to clear it a bit and reduce its yeastiness, but it's still quite drinkable as is!
