Had lunch there today with the Mrs. and the baby. They set us up at a nice table to accomodate a 3 month old.

We started with banana guacamole, and it was very different... and yet very tasty. They used plantains instead of corn chips to dip in the guac.

I followed up with a tasty pulled pork with jalapeno sauce. The pork was very good, but the sauce was entirely too spicy enough that they invaded my tasting of the beer.

I had a tasting of the taps with my meal... sorry I was too indecisive. Some were good, some were lacking. I liked the oatmeal cookie stout, the strong IPA, and the Wee Heavy. I thought the Wee Heavy was pretty gutsy to offer as it was served at cellaring temperature on a hand pump. The ABV and body on this is a killer for the summer. I would pick up a growler, but I don't know too many that would enjoy this with me. The tasting came out with a presentation and explanation of each little glass. The waiter was still learning, but he recited the offering really well.

They offered bombers of some select beers. I enjoyed the IPA, so the double IPA sounded good... except that they run $18 a bottle. I just don't understand why you would pay that much considering that most domestic bombers usually run $12-15 in most liquor stores.

Stopped in here for a quick pint and an app mid-day during the weekend- nice looking building and overall a great atmosphere- high vaulted ceilings inside and a separate billiards room were nice surprises. Overall a very clean modern feel to the place. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the train tracks / station- lots of outdoor seating as well.

Had the nachos as an app, which were quite tasty. Beers seem a bit straightforward, all classical interpretations of styles that I noted on tap. We had the flagship IPA and a seasonal summer blonde, decent enough offerings. Worth a stop to check out if you find yourself in the New Hope / Lambertville areas.

Tucked away from the main streets of New Hope, making it so that the modern sports bar/lounge feel doesn't clash with New Hope's quaint and charming vibe.

The place is huge, with a nice, warm, wood-paneled aesthetic. Live music and pool tables were a definite plus for my husband. There is an outdoor area with tidy, comfy couches and picnic tables, but the crowd makes it feel like the patio at a rich kid's high school party.

And with that said, the crowd is mainly white bread tourists and the young, preppy suburban set. Not really a place for meeting people unless you're in the Greek scene and looking to exchange phone numbers.

As for the beer. I remember thinking the prices were a bit outrageous, even for an East Coast brewery. But maybe that's because the service was so poor and everything I tried was absolutely sub-par.

The bartender couldn't tell me a thing about any of the beers. Couldn't even tell me the styles. "Um...I think it's a dark beer..." was the most I could get out of her. I opted for a flight, and Every. Single. Beer. Disappointed. Honestly, they were practically drain pours. The tastes ranged from metallic to dishwater. We were out of there in no time.

I stopped by last week for a late lunch with the family. I was surprised that they had a band in the middle of the afternoon. The band was a little too loud for me, but the kids enjoyed the show. For lunch we all had burgers, and all were satisfactory. The menu featured alot of locally sourced food, but I was not in the mood for anything too eclectic. On to the beer, I enjoyed a rasberry chocolate stout and a best bitter(on cask). Both were very enjoyable. Our service was very prompt, and he was very attentive to our table. I felt the beer and food were reasonabley priced for the area. I did pick up a few bottles to take home, and they were abit pricey. I definitely would go back if I were in the area.

I got the chance to have a few pints while in New Hope at Triumph after a quick trip across the river to visit River Horse in Lambertvile, NJ. The place was not hard to find, in the center of the shopping center and they have a large sign out on York rd. They greeted us in a friendly way and were pretty up on the service at the bar, I didn't eat since we had reservations elsewhere but I enjoyed a couple of the draft offerings and my wife tried one. They were able to answer all my questions about the growler fills and new 750 ml that were available. I liked the atmospher- it has a modern slant and the open bar area is nice with a stage for bands to play at the end of the bar near the kitchen.

The quality of the beers and the selection were both good. They had a nice variety-IPA, stout, raspberry wheat and Scotch ale on the handpump. I enjoyed the IPA and had the Oatmeal cookie stout on Nitro. They also had a Pils and amber for nice summer styles. I reocmmend coming here even if the price was slightly high -I was told when the bill came after I ordered 1 half pint that since the full pint was cheaper that is what I was charged for, but I was not treated to the other 1/2 (?)
