From tasting notes. Had on tap at the brewery. This is a little hoppier, spicier, and actually a little better than some of the other, less flavorful offerings. It is a little hazy, light tea color but drinkable.

Enjoying this now at home from the growler I had filled from the tap today. Nice hazy pale ale. Forming a foamy white long lasting head. Leaving thick sticky lace trails.
Color is a pale orange copper, a little less hazy then when it was ontap, I'm thinking a bit of the sediment fell out as it sat in the fridge at home for a few hours.
Aroma of leafy hops, pine and orange peel with sweet bready malt.
Taste is malty and balanced with mild hop bitters. carbonation bite has now subsided and its more smooth and creamy. finishing dry with hops lingering.

Originally reviewed September 11, 2005. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange-golden pour, with small crisp head. Bright cascade hops aroma. Effervescent and mostly a continuation of the Cascade. Palate is typically hop dry, yet somewhat sugary. An almost gingery complextion to this example.

This is one of their standards....a decent enough little APA but not special by any means...some nice citrus and sweeter malt notes on the nose....body is a little watery...fthin...flavor is weaker than the nose predicted...an OK citrus hoppiness and also some caramel like toffee for malt...
All in all drinkable (and the best of the four I sampled at the bar) but nothing to go on a mad treasure hunt for....I won't be making a special trip for this one again....
