Deep amber/bronze coloration, slim, dotted white head.
Aroma: this is the good stuff, right from the get-go. Blasts from pine and citrus. Lovely fragrant floral-ity, intense bitter and bracing, just what I love.
Taste: Just as intense, and then some. Bitterness reigns, with caramel malt and more rising up in prominence after the first hoppy blasts. Great balance, well-porportioned, with hops always in charge and way ahead. Terrific tango of hops and malt, step, step, back, dip, and, hey go and spin this time.
This reminds me more than a little of one of my all-time favorites, Town Hall's Masala Mama IPA. High praise, from me. Tasty as can be, and a fine drinker, too.

Stopped by Thirsty Pagan on the way back from Duluth to the Twin Cities (avoiding lakes traffic on a Sunday via Wisconsin) for lunch. After the disappointment that was Framdizzle, I thought I'd try a low hanging fruit.
Arrives in a pint glass, a golden/orange-ish murky liquid with a solid two fingers of head.
Some citrus, but tons of piney evergreen wafting out of the glass. A little bready malt and some sweetness.
A nice bit of citrus up front, but is quickly dominated the resinous pin bite. The bitterness is balanced nicely by malt backbone. Not a typical IPA malt profile, but a more yeasty bread presence.
Carbonation is good, the body is not too thick, it finishes a bit weird. Its about to finish dry, but makes a sharp turn to a somewhat odd creamy feeling that lingers with the yeasty bread maltyness mentioned before.
It's not a great IPA, but it is good. I've only been to the Thirsty Pagan a handful of times, but this one has tasted different each time I've had it. I think they have quite a bit of batch variation.

A - Copper to red body with little carbonation. The head is white with good lacing but rather quick-lived.
S - A bit of grapefruit with a huge pine scent. This beer smells awesome!
T - The citrus and grapefruit really come through in the flavor while the pine is still evident. This is a good tasting IPA with the only holdback is the finish could offer a bit more.
M - The feel of this beer is watery and has no sticky character at all. Considering the rest of the quilities this beverage has to offer I am surprised at how much it lacks in the feel department.
~ This beer is so worth your time. This is a sessionable IPA that I would definitely recommend to anyone.
